As an all-scholarship school, NativityMiguel is committed to removing financial barriers to education and providing every student with the academic opportunities, personal development, and support they need to thrive.
We are a private Catholic middle school that is independent from the Scranton School District and Scranton Diocese.
While we are a Catholic school, students DO NOT have to be Catholic to attend NMS. We welcome students of all faith backgrounds. All students participate in prayer, retreats, and religion classes that teaches Roman Catholic faith. While many of our prayers and classes include the Catholic tradition, we are very ecumenical and value all faith traditions.
We have students that reside in Scranton, Jessup, and Wilkes-Barre. We arrange busing for each student, although some families may decide to drive their child(ren) to school instead.
