Through the lens of the Catholic faith, we, The NativityMiguel School of Scranton, seek to empower our students, of all races and beliefs, to reach their full potential. We offer a holistic approach to academic and character development through our core values of faith and honor, integrity and respect, and leadership and perseverance.
Early in 2012 members of religious congregations with vast experience in education gathered to discuss a shared concern: how they could collaborate to provide quality Catholic education to children with academic potential in a tuition-free school.
Drawing on centuries of educational experience, the sponsors and endorsers agreed to move forward with plans to open NativityMiguel School of Scranton. The middle school will serve grades 5-8 and this unique collaborative effort now includes:
- The Sisters of Christian Charity, Eastern Province
- The Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scranton, PA
