NativityMiguel School of Scranton seeks applicants for grades five and six (based on available space) each fall. All candidates must meet all financial qualifications, one of which is financial eligibility for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Applicants should demonstrate strong academic, attendance, and discipline records, plus the desire to excel in middle school at NativityMiguel School of Scranton, attend college preparatory high schools, and enroll into college. We are not able to accept students with an IEP or with special education needs.
Admissions Process—Students who would like to be considered for enrollment at NativityMiguel School of Scranton must complete the following:
- Submit a completed application, which includes a COMPLETE copy of the parent(s)/guardian(s) most recent tax return.
- Qualified students are invited to take part in a shadow day at the school, which includes an entrance exam to better assess the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses as well as a parent/guardian interview.
- Tests, interviews and tours can be scheduled for any school day between 8:30 and 3:00. Please call 570-955-5176 to make an appointment.
- Families are notified with a decision about whether a child has been accepted, put on the waiting list, or not accepted to the school.
