What is the tuition at NativityMiguel School of Scranton?

Thanks to the generosity of numerous benefactors, all students receive a full scholarship to attend NativityMiguel School of Scranton. This scholarship is valued at $8,500 per year ($25,500 total for middle school). Families pay a small quarterly fee totaling $200 ($150 activity fee and $50 technology fee) to support programs and activities at the school.

Are you a charter school, a private school, or a Catholic school?

We are a private Catholic middle school that is independent from the Scranton School District and Scranton Diocese.

Does my child need to be Catholic to attend NativityMiguel School of Scranton?

We are a Catholic school but students do not have to be Catholic to attend the school. We welcome students of all faith backgrounds. All students participate in prayer, retreat and religion class that teaches Roman Catholic faith. While many of our prayers and classes include the Catholic tradition, we are very ecumenical and value all faith traditions.  Our presence in a Jewish Synagogue also makes it possible to learn about Judaism.

When is the first day of school?

The first day of school is August 29, 2016.

Where do your students live? How do they get to school?

Our students live throughout and near the border of Scranton. All students ride the bus.
